Service Description
*Please read this information before booking a Sisterlocks® Consultation* The Sisterlocks® Package consists of the following: First Visit: The Consultation In this session, you and your Consultant will assess your hair care history, styling preferences, and lifestyle to determine if Sisterlocks is a good fit. You'll also have 8-12 'SAMPLE LOCKS' installed for testing hold, sizes, scalp visibility, and settling time. This consultation is crucial for tailoring your Sisterlocks® experience. Second Visit: The Locking Session (may be divided up to manage client's sitting time.) The locking process may range from 10 to 20 hours, or more in certain cases. On average, clients will have up to 400 locks and a transformed outlook. Your Consultant will equip you with a 'Starter Kit', if available. Schedule your follow-up visit before departure; consistent maintenance is vital for enduring, beautiful Sisterlocks® . Third Visit: Follow-up Schedule your follow-up visit after at least two shampooing's, typically within a month of your Locking Session. Your Consultant will assess lock integrity, offer tightening, and provide an estimated settling-in timeline. Begin discussing styling tips for your perfect 'total look'! Ongoing Follow-up Visits Initially, book re-tightening every 4-6 weeks for effective monitoring. As your locks mature, visit frequency will be personalized. On average, visits range from 4-8 weeks, contingent on hair type and growth rate. *$300 non-refundable deposit required to secure Sisterlocks® installation date(s). Price starts at: Up to 4 in - $2000 5 in - $2100 6 in - $2150 7 in - $2200 8 in - $2250 9 in - $2300 10 in - $2500 Over 10 inches is $200/inch (Price is subject to density and other variables) This appointment is reserved for your Sisterlocks™️ establishment. Please ensure punctuality and anticipate a 12-hour duration. Considering the possibility of extended time, 2 days have been allotted for your service. Feel free to bring snacks and beverages to keep yourself comfortable. I'm excited for the beginning of your loc journey and eagerly await serving you.
Cancellation Policy
1. Enrollment & Payment A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure your training date. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled training date. Failure to complete payment by the deadline may result in forfeiture of your scheduled session. 2. No Refund Policy All payments made toward the Microlocs Mastership™ training are non-refundable. Refunds will only be issued if the training is canceled by Melanin Locs. 3. Rescheduling Policy Clients may request to reschedule their training one (1) time with a minimum of 14 days’ notice prior to the scheduled training date. Rescheduling requests made within 14 days of the training date may result in forfeiture of payments. All rescheduled sessions must be completed within 90 days of the original training date. 4. Late Arrival Policy Training sessions will begin promptly at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not extend the scheduled training time. Repeated tardiness may result in reduced training time without compensation. 5. Attendance Requirement This is a 2-day, 1:1 training experience. Full attendance is required. Missed time will not be refunded or rescheduled. 6. Training Materials & Requirements Participants are required to bring a clean, pre-washed mannequin head (Afro-textured hair preferred). A tripod stand is recommended; table clamps are permitted if necessary. All other tools and materials will be provided during training. 7. Conduct & Professionalism Melanin Locs reserves the right to terminate training without refund if a participant displays unprofessional, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior. 8. Health & Safety If you are feeling unwell prior to your training, you must notify Melanin Locs as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling options. 9. Intellectual Property All training materials, techniques, and curriculum provided during the Microlocs Mastership™ are the intellectual property of Melanin Locs and may not be reproduced, distributed, or taught without written consent. 10. Results Disclaimer Results may vary based on individual skill, practice, and experience. Completion of this training does not guarantee business success or certification unless otherwise stated. 11. Media Release (Optional) Participant grants permission for Melanin Locs to capture photos/videos during training for educational and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
