Service Description
Up to 4 in. - Starting at $2000 + ALL prices are subject to hair density and other variables and could change during your consultation. *$300 non-refundable deposit required to secure your Sisterlocks® installation date(s).* A Sisterlocks® consultation is a collaborative effort to ensure that your locs not only meet your expectations but also complement your unique style and personality. Open communication and clear understanding between you and the stylist are key elements in achieving the desired result. Duration and Cost Estimates: The consultation will also cover the estimated time required for the installation process. Additionally, you'll receive a clear understanding of the associated costs, which may vary based on factors like hair length, density, complexities, and other variables. Client Discussion: The consultation starts with an open conversation between you and the stylist. This is your chance to express your vision, including factors like loc size, length, and any specific styling preferences you may have. Hair Assessment: The stylist will carefully examine your hair type, texture, and overall condition. This assessment helps in determining the most suitable techniques and products for your individual needs. Loc Sizing and Placement: Based on your hair density and the stylist's expertise, you'll discuss the ideal size and placement of the Sisterlocks®. This is a collaborative process, ensuring that the final result aligns with your expectations. Maintenance and Aftercare: The stylist will provide detailed information about the upkeep and care required to maintain your Sisterlocks®. This may include recommended products, washing routines, and how often you should schedule maintenance appointments. Styling Possibilities: The stylist may showcase various styling options you can explore once your Sisterlocks® are in place. This could include different ways to part, accessorize, or arrange your locs for everyday wear. Q&A and Clarifications: You'll have the opportunity to ask any questions or seek clarifications about the process, maintenance, or any concerns you may have. Scheduling and Next Steps: If you decide to proceed with Sisterlocks® installation, you'll discuss scheduling options for the actual appointment. The stylist will also outline any preparatory steps you should take before the installation date. *Consultation fee is deducted from the establishment cost.*
Cancellation Policy
1. Enrollment & Payment A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure your training date. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled training date. Failure to complete payment by the deadline may result in forfeiture of your scheduled session. 2. No Refund Policy All payments made toward the Microlocs Mastership™ training are non-refundable. Refunds will only be issued if the training is canceled by Melanin Locs. 3. Rescheduling Policy Clients may request to reschedule their training one (1) time with a minimum of 14 days’ notice prior to the scheduled training date. Rescheduling requests made within 14 days of the training date may result in forfeiture of payments. All rescheduled sessions must be completed within 90 days of the original training date. 4. Late Arrival Policy Training sessions will begin promptly at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not extend the scheduled training time. Repeated tardiness may result in reduced training time without compensation. 5. Attendance Requirement This is a 2-day, 1:1 training experience. Full attendance is required. Missed time will not be refunded or rescheduled. 6. Training Materials & Requirements Participants are required to bring a clean, pre-washed mannequin head (Afro-textured hair preferred). A tripod stand is recommended; table clamps are permitted if necessary. All other tools and materials will be provided during training. 7. Conduct & Professionalism Melanin Locs reserves the right to terminate training without refund if a participant displays unprofessional, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior. 8. Health & Safety If you are feeling unwell prior to your training, you must notify Melanin Locs as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling options. 9. Intellectual Property All training materials, techniques, and curriculum provided during the Microlocs Mastership™ are the intellectual property of Melanin Locs and may not be reproduced, distributed, or taught without written consent. 10. Results Disclaimer Results may vary based on individual skill, practice, and experience. Completion of this training does not guarantee business success or certification unless otherwise stated. 11. Media Release (Optional) Participant grants permission for Melanin Locs to capture photos/videos during training for educational and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
